ABOUT US
I got my start in masonry by working with my grandfather at a brickyard when I was a young boy. I used to go to work with him when I was little and he would have me loading the local masons’ trucks and making deliveries.
After high school, I worked in mills and the local grocery store. I quickly realized that I missed the variety and daily project changes. I wanted a career, so I asked my grandpa to put in a good word with one of his friends, who had his own masonry company. I was hired on as a laborer and worked on large-scale projects, like Wal-Mart and several others in the Mount Washington Valley area. It was fast-paced, hard work and rewarding.
Winter in the mountains came, and we were all laid off. I didn’t want to stop doing masonry, so I was hired on as a crew member at another masonry company. From there, I continued working on large-scale projects like banks, schools and stores.
I started my own masonry business in 2007 and have enjoyed the design aspect of working with stone; often hand-picking from local quarries to help create beautiful center-pieces in homes.
